Texas A&M University-Commerce has a rich tradition for producing quality student-athletes. Our sport is a big part of that tradition. There are many great individuals that have passed through this program and dedicated themselves to achieve the highest standards of individual excellence that encompasses what the Lion Pride is all about. Academic excellence, athletic prowess, leadership and community service is their legacy. We fully expect and demand that each of you strive to not only continue this tradition, but build upon it.
The program has produced National caliber athletes and numerous of All-Americans. Our goal will be to continue that tradition. Along with the tradition that the university has developed comes the expectations that go with it, the expectations that go along with being an NCAA program, and a member of the Lone Star Conference. We expect you as an student athlete to learn what it takes to be a true competitor. As an individual you should be believe in your ability to perform at your best when it matters most.
